Leather Variations
The natural beauty of leather lies in its inherent blemishes, colour variations and imperfections. Each hide is unique, and will show various surface markings and texture variations – such as visible pores, scars, scratches, stretch marks, wrinkles and graining – making every piece unique. Due to the natural characteristics of the hide, there may also be a distinctive texture and shade from one area to another on a single piece of furniture. With use and proper care, the soft leather surface will scuff, develop signs of distressing, and a beautiful vintage patina will form.
